About Us
Michael A. Ericksen is the founder of Michael Ericksen P.C., a CPA firm specializing in computer consulting, training, and custom systems development.
Mike worked for Arthur Andersen & Company for ten years. Responsibilities included preparing cost estimates for computer projects, supervising programming, developing user documentation, and instructing in the use of microcomputer software. He served as Chairman of the Tax Microcomputer Training Committee and directed research of microcomputer database and training software.
A 1977 graduate of Augustana College, Mike earned a BA degree in Accounting and Business Administration and was an Academic All American in baseball.
He is a Certified Public Accountant in Illinois, a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Illinois CPA Society, the GOA Regional Business Association, and the Schaumburg Business Association (SBA) where he serves on the Board.
Mike is a member and past President of the Rotary Club of Schaumburg - Hoffman Estates a past Governor for Rotary District 6440, past President of the O'Hare Chapter of the Illinois CPA Society, past Chairman on the Society's Management Consulting Committee, and served four years on the Board of the Schaumburg unit of the American Cancer Society.
